Nocera closes $8 million initial funding from convertible note facility
Nocera Inc. (NASDAQ: NCRA) closed the first tranche of funding totaling $8 million from a convertible note facility, the company announced November 20.
The acquisition-focused company previously secured access to a convertible note facility of up to $300 million led by a U.S.-based institutional investor. Nocera stated the funding will support its digital asset initiatives, including token purchases and its acquisition strategy.
The company described itself as industry-agnostic and focused on identifying and acquiring businesses. Additional details about the funding arrangement will be available in Nocera's Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
