Nielsen Holdings N.V. (NYSE: NLSN), announced the launch of a public offering of 25 million shares of common stock. The shares are being sold by certain existing shareholders. No shares are being sold by the company in this offering, and it will not receive any proceeds from the offering. In addition, the selling shareholders will grant the underwriters of the offering an option to purchase an additional 3.75 million shares.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the joint bookrunning managers of the offering and representatives of the underwriters. Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are also bookrunning managers of the offering.
