Nexus Uranium raises $910,000 in private placement financing
Nexus Uranium Corp. (CSE: NEXU) (OTCQB: GIDMD) (FSE: 3H1) completed a private placement offering that raised $910,000 through the issuance of 3.64 million units priced at $0.25 each, according to a company statement.
Each unit includes one common share and one warrant that allows the holder to purchase an additional share at $0.55 until October 31, 2027. The warrants cannot be exercised until December 31, 2025.
The company also issued 212,800 finder's warrants as part of the transaction, which carry the same exercise price and expiration date as the unit warrants.
Nexus plans to use the proceeds for permitting activities, South Dakota relations, drilling bonds, marketing and investor relations, working capital and general corporate purposes.
The securities were issued under the listed issuer financing exemption and are not subject to resale restrictions for Canadian residents. The company utilized exemptions under Coordinated Blanket Order 45-935.
Separately, Nexus granted 285,000 deferred share units to directors and officers under its 2023 equity incentive plan. These units will vest over 12 months, with 25% vesting quarterly.
The Vancouver-based company operates six uranium exploration projects across the United States and Canada, including properties in South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah and Saskatchewan.
