Kobo Resources plans private placement to raise $287,492

Kobo Resources Inc. (TSX.V: KRI) announced plans to complete a non-brokered private placement of 958,306 common shares at $0.30 per share for gross proceeds of $287,491.80, according to a company statement.



The Quebec City-based gold exploration company said it intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate and working capital purposes. The offering is expected to close on or about February 3, 2026, subject to certain conditions including approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.



The common shares will be issued under exemptions from prospectus requirements in accordance with National Instrument 45-106 and will be subject to a four-month statutory hold period under Canadian securities laws.



Kobo Resources operates the Kossou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, located approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Yamoussoukro. The company has completed over 29,000 meters of diamond drilling, nearly 5,887 meters of reverse circulation drilling, and more than 7,100 meters of trenching since 2023.



The shares have not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold to persons in the United States absent proper registration or exemption compliance.
