Jiuzi Holdings plans $300 million private placement expansion
Jiuzi Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: JZXN) announced plans to expand its private placement financing to $300 million following completion of a $60 million round, according to a company statement.
The company said institutional investors from the initial round have expressed interest in additional subscriptions, while new investors have begun due diligence processes. Parties are discussing terms including scale, lock-up periods, and asset delivery methods.
The expanded financing would be injected as cryptocurrency assets to strengthen Jiuzi's digital asset reserves and treasury operations. The company outlined plans to use proceeds for treasury asset expansion, asset allocation optimization, on-chain application deployment, and treasury governance framework improvements.
"This significant investment in cryptocurrency reflects strong confidence from our investors in Chijet's strategic vision and operational capabilities," said CEO Tao Li. "The proceeds provide substantial financial flexibility to advance our secure crypto custody infrastructure and pursue strategic acquisitions within the rapidly evolving digital asset storage ecosystem."
Jiuzi said cryptocurrency proceeds will be held under industry-leading custody standards and regulatory compliance. The offering is being conducted under Securities Act exemptions including Section 4(a)(2) and Regulation S.
The Hangzhou-based company completed its initial $60 million private placement before announcing expansion plans. Jiuzi operates in the digital asset storage and management sector.
