Janus Living launches public offering of 16 million shares

Janus Living, Inc. (NYSE: JAN), a senior housing real estate investment trust, announced the launch of a public offering of 16,000,000 shares of its Class A-1 common stock, according to a press release from the company.
The offering is being made pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-11 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The registration statement has not yet been declared effective.
Janus Living expects to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,400,000 shares of Class A-1 common stock.
The company stated it expects to use net proceeds from the offering to pursue acquisition and investment opportunities and for general corporate purposes.
BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan, and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as lead book-running managers for the offering.
