Intensity Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: INTS) raised $6.6 million in gross proceeds through its at-the-market offering program in July 2025, the biotechnology company announced. The company sold 19,868,658 shares of common stock at an average price of $0.3323 per share, generating $6.3 million in net proceeds.
The stock sales extended the company's cash runway into the second half of 2026, according to the press release. The average sales price per share exceeded the June 2025 public offering price by more than 10%.
Following the ATM sales, Intensity Therapeutics has 46,035,081 shares of common stock outstanding as of July 31, 2025. The company said it will continue to use the ATM program selectively and strategically.
Lewis H. Bender, president and CEO of Intensity Therapeutics, stated that the proceeds strengthen the company's balance sheet and allow continued advancement of clinical trials. He noted that the costs to raise this capital were lower compared to traditional offerings.
Intensity Therapeutics focuses on developing intratumoral cancer therapies using its proprietary non-covalent conjugation technology. The company's lead product candidate, INT230-6, is designed for direct injection into tumors and consists of cisplatin, vinblastine sulfate, and a diffusion enhancer.
The company has completed two clinical studies with over 200 patients enrolled using INT230-6. Current trials include a Phase 3 study in soft tissue sarcoma and a Phase 2 study in triple-negative breast cancer conducted in collaboration with the Swiss Cancer Group.
