Honey Badger Silver plans $1.5 million private placement
Honey Badger Silver Inc. (TSXV: TUF) (OTCQB: HBEIF) announced plans to complete a non-brokered private placement financing of $1.5 million through the issuance of up to 6,521,739 units at $0.18 per unit, according to a company statement.
The offering is expected to close on or about January 16, 2026, subject to regulatory approval. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase an additional common share at $0.23 for 36 months from the date of issuance.
Executive Chairman Chad Williams indicated he intends to participate in the offering for up to $1 million of units, subject to regulatory approvals. The company stated it plans to use net proceeds to advance its silver projects and for general working capital.
The completion remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. All securities issued will be subject to a four-month statutory hold period under Canadian securities laws. The company anticipates paying finder's fees in cash to certain eligible parties on a portion of the placement.
The company also announced plans to grant 2 million stock options at an exercise price of $0.21 per common share, subject to regulatory approval.
Honey Badger Silver operates silver projects including the Sunrise Lake project in the Northwest Territories and the Plata project in Yukon Territory. The company's Clear Lake Project in Yukon Territory contains historical resource estimates, though these have not been verified as current mineral resources under modern standards.
All dollar amounts referenced are in Canadian dollars.
