Hemostemix Inc. (TSXV: HEM) (OTCQB: HMTXF) (FSE: 2VF0) announced it will participate in DFCon 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, and completed a private placement financing of $518,440.

The company will attend the American Limb Preservation Society conference, which focuses on diabetic foot care, vascular medicine, and limb preservation. The three-day event expects more than 500 delegates including podiatrists, vascular surgeons, and other medical professionals.

Hemostemix plans to present data on its ACP-01 treatment, also known as VesCell, for vascular and ischemic conditions. The company cited results from a University of Toronto published phase II clinical trial showing 0% mortality and 83% limb preservation in treated patients followed for 4.5 years. In patients with wound ulcers, the treatment group showed ulcer size reduction from a mean of 146 mm2 to 0.48 mm2 by three months, while the placebo group showed no significant decrease.

The TSX Venture Exchange approved the non-brokered private placement, which adds 520,090 units to a previously announced closing of 4,193,000 units. Each unit was priced at $0.11 and consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional shares at $0.15 each for two years from closing, subject to acceleration provisions if the share price exceeds a weighted average of $0.185 for 10 consecutive trading days after four months.

Hemostemix develops autologous stem cell therapies and has completed seven clinical studies involving 318 subjects. The company has published results in eleven peer-reviewed publications for treatments addressing peripheral arterial disease and other cardiovascular conditions.
