Hatteras Financial Corp. (NYSE: HTS) announced it commenced an underwritten public offering of 15,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to an effective registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,250,000 shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC will serve as the joint book-running managers for the offering. RBC Capital Markets, LLC will serve as a co-manager for the offering.
