Gunnison Copper closes final tranche of private placement for C$150,000
Gunnison Copper Corp. (TSX: GCU) (OTCQB: GCUMF) (FSE: 3XS0) completed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising C$150,000.30 from issuing 333,334 units to a single institutional investor.
Each unit was priced at C$0.45 and includes one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase common shares at C$0.65 until October 31, 2028. The securities are subject to a four-month hold period in Canada that expires March 1, 2026.
The company raised approximately C$13.3 million in total gross proceeds under the complete offering, according to the press release statement.
Gunnison Copper operates in the Southern Arizona Copper Belt and controls the Cochise Mining District, which contains 12 deposits within an 8-kilometer radius. The company's Gunnison Copper Project has a measured and indicated mineral resource of over 831.6 million tons with a total copper grade of 0.31%.
The company also operates the Johnson Camp Asset, which is in production and funded by Nuton LLC, a Rio Tinto venture. This facility has a production capacity of up to 25 million pounds of copper cathode annually.
