Global Atomic launches C$50M public offering to fund Dasa uranium project
Global Atomic Corporation (TSX: GLO)(OTCQX: GLATF)(FRANKFURT: G12) has announced the pricing of a public offering of 100,000,000 units at C$0.50 per unit, targeting gross proceeds of C$50 million, according to a company statement.
Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant is exercisable at C$0.70 per share for 36 months following the closing date. The offering is underwritten solely by Red Cloud Securities Inc.
Red Cloud has been granted a 30-day over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the units sold, exercisable in whole or in part at its discretion.
The company intends to use net proceeds for the advancement of its Dasa uranium project in Niger and for general working capital purposes.
Stephen G. Roman, President and CEO, said the offering is "an initial step to satisfy the Company's remaining contribution to fund the Dasa Project," adding that proceeds will allow the company to evaluate funding options before drawing on a previously approved US$414 million contribution from the DFC.
The offering is expected to close on or about October 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals including from the Toronto Stock Exchange. Units may also be sold in the United States through private placement exemptions and in other international jurisdictions where permitted.
