General Electric (NYSE: GE) filed a $20 billion mixed securities shelf with the SEC. The company may sell Debt Securities, Preferred Stock, Common Stock, Warrants to Purchase Securities, Delayed Delivery Contracts and/or Guarantees.

By using a shelf registration statement, the company may sell, at any time and from time to time, in one or more offerings, any combination of the securities described in the prospectus.
