EyePoint announces $150 million public stock offering

EyePoint Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: EYPT) announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $150 million of common stock shares. The company also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $22.5 million of shares at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount.
J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, Citigroup, and Guggenheim Securities are serving as joint book running managers for the offering. The offering remains subject to market conditions with no assurance regarding completion, timing, or final terms.
EyePoint plans to use net proceeds to advance clinical development of DURAVYU for wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema, support earlier stage pipeline development initiatives, and for general corporate purposes.
The securities are being offered pursuant to an automatically effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. A preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying prospectus will be filed with the SEC and made available on the agency's website.
EyePoint develops therapeutics for serious retinal diseases. Its lead product candidate DURAVYU is currently being evaluated in two Phase 3 trials for wet age-related macular degeneration, with data anticipated in mid-2026. The company expects to begin Phase 3 trials for diabetic macular edema in the first quarter of 2026.
