ENvue Medical secures $50M equity facility for growth and acquisitions
ENvue Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: FEED) announced it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with an institutional investor providing an equity facility of up to $50 million, subject to terms including stockholder approval.
The Tyler, Texas-based medical technology company said the facility is intended to support expansion of its technology platform and evaluation of strategic acquisitions and business development opportunities.
"We have a strong foundation in enteral navigation and a technology roadmap that we believe can take us further," said Doron Besser, CEO of ENvue Medical. "With greater financial flexibility, we believe we will be able to evaluate opportunities to acquire technologies, products or businesses that can accelerate our strategy."
The company outlined several near-term priorities, including expanding its installed hospital base for its feeding tube navigation system, increasing recurring revenue from existing accounts, advancing navigation and artificial intelligence technologies, and evaluating acquisitions intended to expand its product portfolio and market reach.
ENvue Medical operates two technology platforms: the ENvue Navigation Platform, an FDA 510(k)-cleared electromagnetic navigation system for feeding tube placement, and acoustic-based therapeutic technologies including PainShield and UroShield, which use low-intensity surface acoustic wave technology for pain treatment and bacterial colonization reduction.
