Dyadic International Inc. (NASDAQ: DYAI) announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering of common stock shares. The biotechnology company, based in Jupiter, Florida, focuses on producing engineered proteins for life sciences, food and nutrition, and industrial biotechnology applications.
Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC serves as the sole managing underwriter for the offering. The company stated the offering remains subject to market and other conditions, with no assurance regarding completion timing or final terms.
Dyadic plans to use net proceeds from the proposed offering for working capital and general corporate purposes, including product development, sales and marketing activities.
The securities are being offered under an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 9, 2023, and declared effective on August 25, 2023. A preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying prospectus will be filed with the SEC.
The company operates proprietary microbial platforms including C1 and Dapibus expression systems to produce recombinant proteins that are sold or licensed to partners across multiple markets. These platforms are designed to support manufacturing for commercial and partnered programs.
