Colony Financial (NYSE: CLNY) announced it plans to commence a public offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock.
The Company also plans to grant to the underwriter an option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 shares. The Company intends to use the proceeds from the offering to repay amounts outstanding under the Company’s revolving credit facility and to fund additional investments, for working capital and for general corporate purposes.
