Chijet Motor raises $15 million in registered direct offering
Chijet Motor Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: CJET) entered into a definitive agreement for a registered direct offering of 100 million Class A ordinary shares at $0.15 per share, according to a company statement.
The offering will generate approximately $15 million in gross proceeds for the Chinese vehicle manufacturer. The transaction is expected to close on or about October 2, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.
Investors can purchase shares at $0.15 each or opt for pre-funded warrants at the same price, minus an exercise price of $0.003 per share. Univest Securities, LLC serves as the sole placement agent for the transaction.
The company is conducting the offering under a shelf registration statement on Form F-3 that was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and declared effective on August 16, 2024.
Chijet develops, manufactures, sells and services traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Jilin, China, and is constructing a factory in Yantai, China, dedicated to new energy vehicle production.
