Cerrado Gold raises C$10M via private placement with Eric Sprott

Cerrado Gold Inc. (TSX.V: CERT) (OTCQX: CRDOF) has entered into a non-brokered private placement agreement with investor Eric Sprott for gross proceeds of C$10 million, according to a press release from the Toronto-based company.



The placement consists of 4,000,000 units priced at C$2.50 per unit. Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant allows the holder to acquire one common share at C$3.35 per share for 24 months from the closing date.



Closing is expected on or about September 4, 2026, subject to customary conditions including approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. Securities issued will carry a statutory hold period of four months and one day under Canadian securities law.



The company said proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.



CEO and Chairman Mark Brennan stated: "We are pleased to welcome Mr. Sprott as a strategic investor in Cerrado."
