Asia Pac Wire & Cable announces rights offering for shareholders
Asia Pacific Wire & Cable Corporation Limited (NASDAQ: APWC) announced a rights offering for existing shareholders. The Bermuda-incorporated holding company with operations across Australia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Thailand will distribute non-transferable subscription rights at no charge to common shareholders.
Shareholders will receive one subscription right for each common share owned as of 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 24, 2025, which serves as the record date. Each subscription right allows the holder to purchase one additional common share at $1.66 per share.
The company will also provide over-subscription rights to shareholders who fully exercise their basic subscription rights. These over-subscription rights permit the purchase of additional common shares that remain unsubscribed due to unexercised basic subscription rights.
If demand for over-subscription rights exceeds the available shares, the company will distribute the remaining shares among eligible shareholders based on procedures outlined in the offering documentation.
Asia Pacific Wire & Cable operates through subsidiaries across multiple Asian markets, with principal executive offices located in Taipei, Taiwan. The rights offering details were disclosed in a company statement.
