Ambiq launches public offering of 1.8 million shares

Ambiq Micro, Inc. (NYSE: AMBQ), an Austin, Texas-based semiconductor company, announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 1,800,000 shares of its common stock.
The company also expects to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 270,000 shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
BofA Securities and UBS Investment Bank are acting as joint lead book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, Stifel, and Roth Capital Partners are serving as joint book-running managers.
A registration statement on Form S-1, including a prospectus, has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and the company noted there is no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
