While well known, Bill Ackman's Pershing Square filed its amended 13D on J.C. Penney Co., Inc. (NYSE: JCP) showing "zero" shares.
The firm's 39,075,771 shares were sold in a recent public offering at $12.90.
Ackman's fund lost approx 40% on the position.
