Jan. Import Price Index Up 0.3%, Inline; Up 7.1% YoY
Import price index for the month of January rose 0.3%, which compares to the economist estimate of 0.3%. The reading for December was -0.1%.
The index was up 7.1% on a year-over-year basis. The Street was expecting a 7.2% rise from the same month last year.
