hhgregg (HGG) Misses Q2 EPS by 1c

hhgregg (NYSE: HGG) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.37), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.36). Revenue for the quarter came in at $487 million versus the consensus estimate of $488.24 million.

Comparable store sales decreased 3.5% compared to the prior year second quarter, but improved by 280 basis points as compared to the first quarter of fiscal 2016.
