West Marine, Inc. (WMAR) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c

West Marine, Inc. (NASDAQ: WMAR) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.45), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.47). Revenue for the quarter came in at $130.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $122.24 million.

The company expects total revenue to increase by 1% to 4% in fiscal 2016. This net revenue growth, combined with continued expense control, is expected to improve pre-tax profit by more than 50% in 2016.
