Walmart (WMT) Tops Q4 EPS by 19c, Guidance Misses

Walmart (NYSE: WMT) reported Q4 EPS of $1.71, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $1.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $164 billion versus the consensus estimate of $159.77 billion.

• Walmart U.S. grew comp sales1 8.3%, with eCommerce growth of 17%

GUIDANCE:

Walmart sees Q1 2024 EPS of $1.25-$1.30, versus the consensus of $1.36.

• Consolidated net sales Increase 4.5% to 5.0% constant currency

Walmart sees FY2024 EPS of $5.90-$6.05, versus the consensus of $6.50.

• Consolidated net sales Increase 2.5% to 3.0% constant currency
