Walmart (WMT) Tops Q2 EPS by 31c

Walmart (NYSE: WMT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.56, $0.31 better than the analyst estimate of $1.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $137.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $135.48 billion.

• Walmart U.S. comp sales increased 9.3%, led by strength in general merchandise and food.
• Walmart U.S. eCommerce sales grew 97% with strong results across all channels.
