Vocera (VCRA) Tops Q3 EPS by 3c

Vocera (NYSE: VCRA) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.16), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenue for the quarter came in at $23.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $21.7 million.

Vocera sees FY2014 EPS of ($0.68)-($0.57), versus the consensus of ($0.65). Vocera sees FY2014 revenue of $92-95 million, versus the consensus of $92.71 million.

“Third quarter results reflect good sequential progress in bookings and backlog from Q2 and growing momentum as we finish the year,” noted Brent Lang, Vocera’s president and CEO. “We achieved revenue above our guidance, and maintained a software maintenance renewal rate above 98%. Despite challenging spending conditions in U.S. hospitals, we continue to expand and strengthen our market position.”
