Unum Group (UNM) Misses Q3 EPS by 3c, Offers Guidance

Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) reported Q3 EPS of $0.87, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.61 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.61 billion.

Outlook

The Company anticipates growth in after-tax operating earnings per share for full-year 2014 to be in the outlook range announced in December 2013 of five percent to ten percent.
