United Community Financial (UCFC) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c

United Community Financial (NASDAQ: UCFC) reported Q4 diluted EPS (ex-items) of $0.12, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $0 versus the consensus estimate of $16.5 million.

President & CEO Gary Small said "Excellent fourth quarter performance capped off an outstanding year for Home Savings. For the year we originated over $900 million in loans, delivered strong loan growth in our commercial and consumer business segments, successfully expanded our residential lending business into new markets, added insurance agency and mezzanine finance capabilities, and are well on our way to completing the integration process with Premier Bank and Trust.”
