Union Pacific (UNP) Tops Q1 EPS by 9c

Union Pacific (NYSE: UNP) reported Q1 EPS of $2.67, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $2.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.06 billion.

• Long term dividend payout target of ~45% of earnings
• Excess cash to share repurchases
