UPDATE: Intel (INTC) Shares Active Ahead of Earnings After-the-Close

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) was active on volume Tuesday afternoon ahead of its Q3 earnings report after-the close.

UPDATE: The surge in activity was related to inadvertent Reuters earnings headlines. Reuters issued an advisory saying to ignore the earnings alert on Intel, which was for Q2. The company is scheduled to report Q3 after the close.
