Tripadvisor delivers better-than-expected Q3 results

Investing.com -- Tripadvisor reported third-quarter results Monday that beat analyst estimates on both the top and bottom lines.

Tripadvisor Inc (NASDAQ: TRIP) rose 9% in afterhours following the report.

The online travel company reported adjusted EPS of $0.52 on revenue of $533 million, topping Wall Street estimates of $0.47 on revenue of $505M.

Revenue, which grew 16% year over year was driven by better than expected performance across experiences and in Tripadvisor's core hotel meta offering. the company said.
