The Buckle (BKE) Misses Q1 EPS by 4c, Comps Decline 1.3%

The Buckle (NYSE: BKE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.31, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $201.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $200.49 million.

Comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended May 4, 2019 decreased 1.3 percent from comparable store net sales for the prior year 13-week period ended May 5, 2018.
