Taylor Devices (TAYD) Reports Decline in Q2 Sales

Taylor Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: TAYD) announced today that it had 2nd quarter sales of $3,757,731, down from last year's 2nd quarter sales of $4,276,406. Sales for the 1st six months were $8,561,233, down slightly from last year's sales of $8,684,591.

Net earnings for the 2nd quarter were $55,365, down from last year's 2nd quarter earnings of $113,309. Net earnings for the 1st six months were $204,017, down from last year's earnings of $461,539.

Taylor Devices, Inc. is engaged in the designing, development, manufacturing and marketing of shock absorption, rate control, and energy storage devices for use in various types of machinery, equipment and structures.[SM]
