Target (TGT) Tops Q1 EPS by 25c; raises guidance

Target (NYSE: TGT) reported Q1 EPS of $1.71, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $1.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.44 billion versus the consensus estimate of $24.66 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Target sees high end of $7.50-$8.50 FY profit guidance. Target expects net sales to grow around 4% this fiscal year from a year ago, double its prior target of 2% growth.
