Symantec (SYMC) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c, Updates Guidance

Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.62 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.62 billion.

Symantec sees Q3 2014 EPS of $0.47-$0.50, versus the consensus of $0.5. Symantec sees Q3 2014 revenue of $1.65-1.69 billion, versus the consensus of $1.70 billion.

Symantec sees FY2015 EPS of $1.88-$1.93, versus the consensus of $1.88. Symantec sees FY2015 revenue of $6.6-6.68 billion, versus the consensus of $6.71 million.
