Surgical Care (NASDAQ: SCAI) reported Q3 EPS of $0.20, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $219.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $207.6 million.
Guidance
For 2014, SCA is reiterating its previously established 2014 guidance for Adjusted EBITDA less NCI to be between $154 million and $158 million. As we have indicated in the past, the strong growth expected in the fourth quarter of 2014 reflects the impact of our 2014 acquisitions and the expected timing of corporate expenses relative to fourth quarter 2013.
