Steel Stocks Higher as Steel Dynamics (STLD) Reports Solid Q1

Traders should be watching steel stocks in the after-hours session following a strong Q1 report from Steel Dynamics (Nasdaq: STLD).

Shares of Steel Dynamics are up more than 2 percent in post-market trade.

The company issued quarterly earnings of 46 cents per share on sales of $2.02 billion. The Street was looking for EPS of 41 cents on sales of $1.81 billion.
