Square (SQ) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Q2 EPS Guidance Misses Consensus

Square (NYSE: SQ) reported Q1 EPS of $0.11, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $489 million versus the consensus estimate of $478.27 million.

GUIDANCE:

Square sees Q2 2019 EPS of $0.14-$0.16, versus the consensus of $0.19. Square sees Q2 2019 revenue of $545-555 million, versus the consensus of $555.51 million.
