Snap (SNAP) Q1 Revenue Tops Consensus, DAUs were 229 million

Snap (NYSE: SNAP) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.08), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $462 million versus the consensus estimate of $431.43 million.

  • DAUs were 229 million in Q1 2020, an increase of 39 million or 20% year-over-year.
  • DAUs increased sequentially and year-over-year in each of North America, Europe, and Rest of World.
  • DAUs increased sequentially and year-over-year on each of iOS and Android platforms.
  • On average, more than 4 billion Snaps were created each day in Q1 2020.
