Sirius XM Radio, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, $0.46 better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $838 million versus the consensus estimate of $834.38 million.
The total paid subscriber base rose to a record high 22.9 million subscribers. Strong auto sales helped lift total paid and unpaid trial inventory by approximately 400,000 from the first quarter to 6.1 million.
Sees FY2012 revenue approaching $3.4 billion, versus $3.38 billion consensus.
