Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Reaffirms

Scotts Miracle-Gro (NYSE: SMG) reported Q1 EPS of ($1.13), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($1.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $245.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $230.26 million.

GUIDANCE:

Scotts Miracle-Gro reaffirms FY2016 EPS of $3.75-$3.95, versus the consensus of $3.85. The Company reiterated expectations for company-wide net sales to increase by approximately 4 to 5 percent in fiscal 2016.
