RAIT Financial Trust (RAS) Misses Q2 EPS by 4c

RAIT Financial Trust (NYSE: RAS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.24, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $73.26 million versus the consensus estimate of $34.91 million.

Assets under management increased 47% to $5.3 billion at June 30, 2014 from $3.6 billion at December 31, 2013 due primarily to inclusion of third party retail properties managed by RAIT’s retail-focused property manager beginning in 2014.
