Proofpoint (PFPT) Tops Q2 EPS by 9c, Offers Q3 and FY Guidance

Proofpoint (NASDAQ: PFPT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.26, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $171.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $169.46 million.

GUIDANCE:

Proofpoint sees Q3 2018 EPS of $0.25-$0.29, versus the consensus of $0.26. Proofpoint sees Q3 2018 revenue of $180-182 million, versus the consensus of $179.98 million.

Proofpoint sees FY2018 EPS of $1.12-$1.19, versus the consensus of $1.07. Proofpoint sees FY2018 revenue of $705-709 million, versus the consensus of $706.6 million.
