PerkinElmer (PKI) Tops Q4 EPS by 7c, Updates Guidance

PerkinElmer (NYSE: PKI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.85, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenue for the quarter came in at $608.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $602.35 million.

PerkinElmer sees FY2015 EPS of $2.58-$2.64, versus the consensus of $2.63. The guidance assumes that the stronger US dollar will negatively impact earnings per share for 2015 by approximately $0.15.
