Palo Alto Networks (PANW) Tops Q2 EPS by 12c

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) reported Q2 EPS of $1.55, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $985.68 million.

"The momentum in the business continues to be strong, with second quarter revenue growth of 25% year over year to over 1 billion USD, driven by strong execution across the board," said Nikesh Arora, chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks. "Events like the SolarStorm attack highlight the importance of cybersecurity, and Palo Alto Networks is well positioned to protect our customers with best-of-breed solutions. We are excited about the bets that we have made in SASE, Cloud and AI. Our three-platform strategy is paying off."

GUIDANCE:

Palo Alto Networks sees Q3 2021 EPS of $1.27-$1.29, versus the consensus of $1.28. Palo Alto Networks sees Q3 2021 revenue of $1.05-1.06 billion, versus the consensus of $1.05 billion.

Palo Alto Networks sees FY2021 EPS of $5.80-$5.90, versus the consensus of $5.81. Palo Alto Networks sees FY2021 revenue of $4.15-4.2 billion, versus the consensus of $4.12 billion.
