OpenTable (OPEN) Surges on Strong Q2 Results

OpenTable, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPEN) is surging higher following strong second quarter results after the close.

Open Table reported Q2 EPS of $0.42, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $39.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $39.44 million.

Sees FY12 EPS of $1.54 - $1.66 and revs of $160 - $164 million, versus consensus of $1.57 and revs of $161.7 million.

Sees Q3 EPS of $.34 - $0.38 and revs of $39.1 - $40.2 million, versus EPS views of $0.38 and revs of $39.8 million.

OpenTable last traded at $40.50, up 18.59 percent.
