Nuance Communications (NUAN) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c

Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.33, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $493.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $504.74 million.

GUIDANCE:

For its continuing operations, Nuance is confident in its 2019 outlook and is maintaining its full-year revenue guidance. The Company is increasing full-year operating margin guidance as a result of an improved mix of higher-margin recurring healthcare revenue and it is increasing full-year EPS guidance as a result of this revenue mix and the benefits from the Company’s capital allocation activities.
