Northern Trust (NTRS) Tops Q4 EPS by 13c

Northern Trust (NASDAQ: NTRS) reported Q4 EPS of $0.94, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.13 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.1 billion.

Return on average common equity was 11.5%, compared to 8.7% in the prior year quarter and 10.1% in the prior quarter.
